Mitchell Vande Berg identified 4 core intercultural competencies for bridging across differences: increasing awareness and understanding of our own ways of making meaning and acting in familiar and unfamiliar contexts; increasing awareness and understanding of others' ways of making meaning and acting in familiar an unfamiliar contexts; responding mindfully in contexts tat disorient of challenge us; and bridging cultural gaps in those contexts. This program will introduce you to them.
